Body Memory is an installation constructed as a bamboo forest with etched text.
Seven backlit figures cast shadows representing the seven chakras of the body.
Films of the small figures loop and project the moving images into bottles of clear fluid.
Artists text: The memory said to the hand: We carry our personal history in our tissue,
each cell is like a memory bank that holds the past. And the hand said to the memory:
The best way to free yourself from the past is to locate it in the body.
